This song came about entirely from the title. I had the idea of using 'Fallen Angel' and basically in the time it took to draw pen over paper I wrote the lyrics. Sometimes we get things right, sometimes we don't but we are not Gods or Angels so that's o.k. We can only do what we do as best we can.

When I road tested this song it was a little slower but the day before recording I was listening to George's Harrison's 'My Sweet Lord'. I loved the pace, the feel good factor, the way it floated.... so I went with that approach :) For the lead guitar I imagined a sound like Bowie's 'Loving The Alien'....
