Existence - with the 'Furnace' well fired up and the visions and experiences of the journey of life revealing themselves the idea for this next song came very easily. By far the most sparse arrangement on Disc One, just a vocal, bass and drums. It just didn't need anything else - 'I'll send you postcards from the journey...' . I imagined the whole of life as a collection of events and experiences sometimes leading toward a destination, sometimes not.. We just don't know.
